Elliot
A. Salter has broad experience in
patent, copyright, and trademark
prosecution, licensing, and litigation,
with special emphasis in the mechanical
and electro-mechanical arts.
Mr. Salter was a former Patent
Examiner with the U.S. Patent and
Trademark Office. He is admitted
to the bars of Rhode Island and
Washington, DC, and to practice
before the U.S. Court of Claims,
various federal courts, and the
U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Salter is a member of the Rhode
Island bar, Rhode Island Bar Association,
Boston Patent law Association, the
American Intellectual Property Law
Association, and has been admitted
to practice before the U.S. Patent
and Trademark Office since 1953.

Robert

bar. Mr. Salter specializes in trademark
and copyright prosecution and represents

law, Mr. Salter regularly searches
for the availability of names in
connection with specific products
and services and advises clients
on the necessity of filing trademark
applications with the U.S. Patent
and Trademark Office. Mr. Salter
also regularly deals with trademark
infringement matters, both in initiating
and defending potential lawsuits.

David M. Driscoll has over 30 years
of extensive patent prosecution
and related litigation support in
the intellectual property field
in mechanical, electrical, electronic
and software areas, including counseling
with clients in litigation, licensing
and related strategy matters and
the preparation of due diligence
studies.
Mr. Driscoll has both corporate
and private practice experience
as a former partner at a Boston
intellectual property firm. He was
admitted to the Massachusetts bar
in 1968 and the U.S. Patent and
Trademark Office bar in 1969.
